Community Involvement
At Sangaree Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to our community and committed to making life better for animals in our area: yours, ours, and the ones that have no one else to care for them. Dr. McGinn was a co-founder of the Doc Williams Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, formerly known as the Berkeley County SPCA. We work closely with all surrounding animal shelters including Doc Williams SPCA, Francis Willis SPCA, and Charleston Animal Society.
You’ll also find us at the Summerville Farmers Market several times a year, and we’re proud to take part in the annual Christmas Tree in the Square celebration. Sangaree Animal Hospital is also a long-time supporter of the Charleston area’s Out of the Darkness Walk, which raises awareness and funding for suicide prevention efforts.
